There’s nothing like being home for the holidays. This Advent Season, we are unpacking the idea that at Christmas, in the incarnation, God was coming home to his people. God’s desire has always been to dwell with his people. This is the Story of God. And yet, in the gospel, we see the fullness of that desire and the love, joy, hope and peace that come from God’s movement toward us. Truly, Jesus is IMMANUEL or GOD WITH US!!!
